Week 13 - 06/24/07

Week 13 is here! They have called us and set the closing for July 31st! The driveway and sidewalk are outlined and ready for the concrete.


The carpet and flooring has been installed. The electricity has been turned on! We are almost there!

Week 12 - 06/17/07

Week 12 - the house is painted and the front and back yards are leveled! It looks so close! We are super excited!

The baths are alomost done and the toilets work!

The kitchen is taking shape. The cabinets are in and the contertops are mostly done! We have a dishwasher too!

It will be done before we know it.

Week 11 - 06/10/07

So week 11 was the week of the doors. We got lots of doors - the garage door is up and installed, (it is metal not wooden) the closet doors in the small bedrooms are up, the other doors are waiting in the dining room to be hung! The baseboards and framing were installed and the whole place has been painted bright white. We are coming along nicely!

I talked to Mary Ann - who sold us the house- and we are right on schedule. The builder is saying late July for the house!!

6 weeks to go and lots to do!

Week 10 - 06/03/07

Week 1o is here already! There was not much change from last week. The walls were texturized (if that is a word) and the seems of the dry wall are gone. The whole space looks like a big white room.

In the picture of the living room you can see the plant shelf and the ceilings. The room looks so big now!
